Chris Coughlin, Timken executive vice president and president Industrial Motion, announces new leadership roles for the belts and chain organization.
Lance Kelly has been named president, belts and chain. In this role, Lance will report to Chris Coughlin and will lead the Diamond and Drives chain and Timken’s belts businesses.
Lance joined Timken in 2008 as part of the operations development program. Since then, he has held various positions in operations and business leadership. He was named plant manager of the Mascot Rail Plant in 2015 and plant manager of the Shiloh Plant in 2018. Most recently, Lance served as President of Lovejoy.
Lance earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Sean Hazelton has been named vice president sales, belts and chain, reporting to Lance. In this role, Sean will lead the global belts and chain sales and marketing strategy and will collaborate with the operations and business functions to grow sales revenue and increase profitability with high levels of customer service. The belts and chain sales and marketing organization will report to Sean.
Sean joined Timken in 2017 as managing director – Canada. Sean earned a bachelor’s degree from York University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario.
